Why did you choose your profession?
Business owners always fascinated me, so I gravitated toward working for them. Eventually, I found out my profession would involve serving business owners.
Who are your main influences?
My clients are my biggest influences. I learn so much from them. And I love to learn! Personally, my family, extended family, many coaches, many teachers, and professors, many authors, and my faith are my main influences.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
My family is "my" greatest accomplishment. But, I did not accomplish this feat alone! Professionally, any time an underdog overcomes or a leadership transition works, that makes me smile.
What tools do you use?
Listening and asking questions. Then, if you need tools to help facilitate learning and growth (or another "why" for needing a tool), choose tools that both coach and player-coach can use with ease.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in your profession?
There is no such thing as “balance,” and there is no such thing as imposter syndrome.
